In our travels, we´re often moved by hospitality and warmth of people wherever we go. For us, hosting private tours is a way of giving back some of the love we´ve received.
Ten years ago (in 2012) we quit our 9 to 5 jobs and established Saku Travel – from a passion for touring Tallinn, exploring the countryside and meeting new people. We specialized in providing private tours for small groups of clients.
We were delighted to have been awarded a “TripAdvisor Certificate Of Excellence” four years in a row: 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019. Then the Covid pandemic started…
Now, in spring 2022 we´re glad to announce that we are back. Our vision hasn’t changed: to deliver high-quality private tours and focus on your experience. We point out things that you might otherwise not notice and share with you stories that the guide books couldn’t squeeze in.
If the tour includes a driving element, you will have a tour guide (Maarja or Li) and a separate driver (Jüri). The duration of the driving portion is given in the itinerary. You will ride in a black Merecedes Viano minivan, climate controlled for your comfort.

Co-founder, tech guy & driverI manage the IT- side of the company and lead our clients through Tallinn and the surrounding areas in my sweet Mercedes. Along with Maarja, I was involved in setting up the company from day one. I'm committed to making your tour the highlight of your visit to Estonia.
