Tour itinerary for cruise ship passengers

The recommended duration is 3 hours.
NB! The actual start time will be agreed with you and depends on your preferences, the cruise ship arrival time, etc. This is a sample schedule:

9:00 meet and greet at the cruise ship terminal
9:00-9:15 walk with the guide to the Great Coastal Gate, one of the main entrances to the Old Town.

9:15- 12:00 comprehensive introduction to the historical center and current life in Estonia, while visiting both the lower and upper section of the fortified Old Town.
The highlights you will see include the Fat Margaret tower, former KGB Headquarters, Toompea Castle, St. Mary´s Cathedral (inside visit if not closed for a service), Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, magnificent view over the Old Town’s rooftops and towers, Danish King´s Garden, Kiek in de Kök Tower, Town Hall Pharmacy from 1422 (inside visit); the Town Hall, St. Catherine’s Passage, medieval merchants´ houses and some photogenic side streets and backyards…

12:00 the tour concludes at the Town Hall Square or anywhere in Old Town you would like to visit next. We leave you with directions on how to return to the cruise terminal which is 20-25 minute walking from the central square (or a 5-minute taxi drive from Viru Gates).
